  	BAILEYVILLE – Robert M. Ramsdell, 72, died Sunday, April 9, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. Bob was born Sept. 28, 1933, in Belfast, son of the late Aubrey and Gloria (Fitch) Ramsdell. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Air Force. On June 3, 1983, he married Josephine Drotar. Bob was employed as an electrical engineer for Georgia Pacific, retiring in 1988. He enjoyed wood carving, fishing, the outdoors, photography, camping, and traveling. Bob was predeceased by a brother, Sonny Ramsdell. Surviving are his loving wife of more than 22 years, Josephine; two children, Christopher Ramsdell and wife, Leslie, of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Jennifer Leigh and husband, Ed, of Palmetto, Fla.; stepchildren, Terry, Cathy, Michael, Clay, and Kern Glasscock, Susan White, Barbara Porterfield, Michael Robb, Paula Eppich, Katie McMullin, and Debbie Robb; two grandchildren, Cathy and Jamie Leigh; several stepgrandchildren; and a great-granddaughter, Amber. A graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 15, in Woodland Cemetery, Baileyville, with Fr. Frank Morin officiating. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais.
