  Obituary Ray Boven August 28, 1931 - July 13, 2017 Ray Boven, 85, of Lynchburg passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017. Ray was born on August 28, 1931 in McBain, Michigan to the late Derk and Kate Boven and was married to Patricia Francis Goetz Boven. He was an Electrical Design Engineer and retired from Babcock & Wilcox. Survivors include his wife; three sons, David Boven of Lynchburg, Dennis Boven of New Mexico and Douglas Boven of North Carolina; and two grandchildren. A Celebration of Ray’s Life will be conducted at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18, 2017.
